My horse career began at the age of 8 in Wisconsin, where I bought and sold horses and ran a horse livery stable.  My horse interests included halter horse, western riding, hunter jumpers, driving, trail, and exercising horses at the race track.  While at Utah State University, studying animal sciences, I trained galloped horses at the track. I also was a Quarter Horses and Thoroughbred jockey at track in Utah and Colorado.  This period is what sparked my interests in 3-day eventing.  I evented through preliminary level, while at the same time bringing many horses and students through the same level.  I have scribed for several R and S judges.  For seventeen years in Colorado, I owned and operated a 60 horse boarding/training/breeding/lesson facility.  During this period I managed over 100 horse shows/managed several approved shows and events, including horse trials.  I was also the chapter chair for Mountain States Combined Training Association for 2 years. While in Denver, I held an open-show judges card for western, english, halter, and hunters.  I am a graduate of the Colorado State University Equine Reproductive Management and Artificial Insemination Program.

Currently, I own and operate Pacific Equestrian Center (PEC), where my emphasis is on dressage.  I import, breed, and market warmblood sporthorses.  I prepare and handle breed show horses, including stallions. I have managed and PEC has hosted the Northern California Sporthorse Breeders Championship.  I have received a USDF Instructor Workshop Award.  I continue with instruction in dressage, and training of dressage horses.  I have managed several 3 star dressage shows at PEC. I have successfully competed through Intermediare Level. I have received Bronze and Silver Dressage Medals.  Currently, I am seeking the  "gold" (2 scores remaining at Grand Prix).
